TIMES OF INDIA RECOGNIZES!!!

Dear Friends, Visitors, contributors and Fellow Bloggers,

Thanks to you all, TIMES OF INDIA has recognized our efforts and the love for Indrajal comics and I was interviewed by Mahfreed Irani, Senior Correspondent and Copy writer, Times of India! of course, thanks to TCP, he suggested my blog to Times and being the small fish, i still got the glam!

I am so happy today that i cant believe the effort and love for comics, my childhood passion has been finally taken notice of. The roaming around for comics from raddiwalas, old book sellers, friends, has definitely some value....it has been proved now and this all became possible because of you all visiting here and making the Skull cave so popular.

please read it and post your views / comments on it. I dedicate this to your support.
I will start posting Marathi Indrajals from Tommorrow...this Times article has boosted my energy and will to post a 1000 folds!!!

Excellent Sameer. But plz insist them to publish a collector's copy starting from #1. It may be a hard bound volume , arranged chronologically.

Hi Sameer,

this is wonderful news....

This is a wonderful acknowledgement of all the efforts put in by all of you (TCP, Venkit, Prabhat, CW, Ajay ...to name but a few).

Also brings in legitimacy to the entire blogging community dedicated to bring the indian comics back to fans like us.

Agreed. All bloggers deserve a write up of them!

Congrats! So now even Times Of India(who after published these comics) is unofficially approving of what you guys are doing. :)

This is nice. This also proves that the Bharat Raj Rajan & Co complaint was a total fraud. The Times of India owns the Indrajal brand and they surely would not have written such a nice article on the blogs if they had filed a lawsuit asking you to stop posting the Indrajal scans.

Congratulation Sameeer,
Your passion and dedication reflect positively on the whole comic-book community.

Old Man Mozz,

i totally agree with you and you all will agree, this article came a little late...after all the indrajals were posted and the blogs went out cold....but maybe, this has become the summary of all the efforts by all bloggers!

KK,

let me correct you:

Times of India is OFFICIALLY approving of what we guys are doing :)

Indrajal Comics Treasures said...

Overall, this story has an happy ending. Efforts of those seen and unsung uploaders of indrajal comics was not in vain. Beyond this appreciation, think of the joy they brought us and returned the smile of our nostalgic age.
Saying thank you, will just not be enough to all those behind this.

And, I think this is only one of its kind appreciation for such a deed. do all agree?
