Bahadur Triple Treat

Now guys,
This is what i call speed! VENKIT WALKER IS ACTUALLY "RUNNER"...he has shifted his focus to desi hero Bahadur, my all time favorite. He has sent me excellent scans, very perfect and a lot of hard work!!
I have a personal opinion: Bahadur always looks best with his saffron kurta and flowing hair....he somehow became quite modern with his tight tshirts and jeans....I personally like him as the kurta clad person... can u guys put some opinion?
When a child, ( i am always one...) i was really scared when i read the "Mystery of the headless ghost" and was afraid to sleep alone or go to the terrace ....that was the power of IJC!!
He has sent me these three gems:

I sincerely request all those who will download, please send a appraisal for Venkit's hard work...this is all that it takes for someone to work harder and it is our duty to keep the fuel burning in them if we want the light! The same regards for Ajay too!

ANY ONE STILL INTERESTED IN PHANTOM DAILIES AND SUNDAYS? I AM PRINTING A SECOND LOT SINCE 5 HAVE SENT THEIR REQUIREMENTS.

Hi Sameer, venkit,

Many thanks for the triple treat. its such a shame that Bahdaur was discontinued. I think he is a great indian comic hero and yes I love bhadur with his kurta. If Bhadaur comics had continued no-stop since 1988 he might probably be married to Bela

Dear Prabhat, thanks to be the first! i feel good to get comments from a Shatabdi express to a lonavala local...

Grouchy, i think u r more eager to marry bela...( she is approx. 48 years old...she was 28 in 1988...ask ur wife and show this post to her...she will flip u over her back and place a chop on ur neck :-))

and Grouchy, it is BAHADUR and not
Bahdaur or bhadur or Bhadaur...it spells so funny! :-))

Dear Sameer and Venkit, I would take my hat off in amazement in awe of your wonderful work, were it not already off! :) Awesome job!!!! I love Bahadur comics - my favorite 3 were always P, B and M.

As far as taste is concerned, since in my childhood I read mostly the ones where B was wearing the pink shirt, I'd say I like that version, but now after having read so many kurta versions, that's not too bad! But you have to agree - Bahadur in his pink shirt looks tougher (ironically)! :)

Sorry about my spelling. I am horrible on a keyboard.

with regard to Bela's age, I prefer them older. They know a thing or two ;).

Dont tell my wife though. She is quiet capable of what you described!

You "prefer them" older? do you have choices in life with a wife who can throw you or chop u?? Looks like u respect "experienced ones" :-)) looks like ur wife is a black belt holder er..i mean she holds a black belt ( leather) in her hand for u....haha..my wife is more capable with her words and hands too!!..oops she is just coming,i better skipp off!!

Sameer: Thanks for double posting on one of my favorite Indian Comics Heroes, Bahadur. I too loved his avatar when he was wearing the Kurta & pyjama... somehow its western look of Tight shirt and jeans didn't enthuse me much.

Thanks much to Venkit too for the scans. He is really living up to be a great contributor for all Indrajal Blogs. Thans buddy.

I just saw your other post, on inviting comments, and I agree that they are the building blocks of any successful blogs. Trust me, I have the same problem with my blog. But rest assured, I will comment whenever I read or download at post at Skull Cave. The reason I didn't in the past, is because I hardly browsed for nearly 2 or 3 months now :).

By the way, I would like to add my name to the list of Daily Prints. Will contact you through mail on the same, shortly.

Happy Posting and Reading.

Hi Sameer,
Can you take a few pictures of your daily and sundays books and put them on the blog. Thanks for the scans, Venkit. It has been great to see new contributors having a lot of passion and commitment and that speaks volumes. It is not easy to scan a comic, takes time and effort. Thanks

Hey Sameer - many thanks for the dailies. These are amazing quality print outs man. It brought back memories from my childhood. I started reading them as soon as I opened them. I think a lot of us appreciate what you do for the comic lovers community, we should just express it more often.

Hey - I came across this and was impressed with the collection and blog. I was always a fan of Phantom and Bahadur as a child and it was nice to see some of those old memories.
Is there anyway I can get hold of these old comics, as I see most of the links are dated and dont open up. Does Indrajal have sales of its old books?
