INDRAJAL : BAHADUR QUADRANT

HAPPY GUDI PADWA....

Actually, those who are not aware, today is "CHAITRA PRATIPADA",
( first day of Chaitra month)
the new year of Hindu calendar....
A Maharashtrian Festival.

We eat the leaves of Neem tree and they are quite bitter in taste....but they have a lot of medicinal value. The main objective of eating bitter leaves on the first day of a new year is : LET THE START BE BITTER, BUT LET THE ENTIRE YEAR BE SWEET!
So to make everyone feel sweet, again i am posting this BAHADUR special:

updating the post: THIS HAS BEEN SCANNED BY ME.
VENKIT has sent me these three scans: all from Volume 21 : vol 21.41, 44, 50
see him fight the terror we all want to fight....

In kannada they say eat Jaggery and Neem together on this auspicious day to summarize that the year be filled more with good times than the bad. I am going to a party tonight to celebrate the new year of Virodhi Samvatsara the name for this year

Awesome work Sameer and Venkit! And a happy new year to everybody! Isn't it fun that almost every state in India has a different variant of a new year - more holidays for all of us! :D

I don't have any Hindi versions for obvious reasons. I had a lot of Tamil "Rani" Comics in India. They used to publish Phantom, Mandrake, Flash, James Bond, Modesty Blaise etc.

BTW, I do have the first part of the "Greedy Tyrant" (recently scanned by Ajay and posted by Prabhat) in Kannada. Don't know if anyone will be interested. I had to buy that because the English version had sold out.
It might help increase the number of languages, if we do not already have had a Kannada comic published.

@VenKIT: I don't think Kannada has been published (if so, i haven't been paying attention as always). I think Sameer posted the first Marathi Indrajal..so why not the first Kannada? :-)
@Sameer: Gudi padwa happy happy. Great comic. Looking forward to more.
